I am hesitant to enter into a long-term contract
No need to worry! Our agreement runs on a continuous month-to-month basis and has a 2-week notice period. I do not lock you in for a specific period of time. One-off projects are just that - once off.
I only need help with a once-off project. Can you help me?
Of course I can, provided it is in the scope of my services or skill set! That is one of the biggest benefits of a Virtual Assistant - you only pay for what you need, when you need it.
Am I obligated to make use of your services after the free 30-minute consultation call?
Not at all! I will email you a custom proposal based on what we discussed during the call. It is then totally up to you to accept the proposal or not.
Will you come to my office?
I work 100% remotely, using my own office space and equipment, which help you save on business expenses.
Do you only work with South African clients?
One of the biggest benefits of working remotely is that I am not restricted to one localised area. I am currently serving clients on three continents. 
Do you do a free trial run?

In order to honor and fulfill the commitment I’ve made to my paying clients, I can’t take on any pro bono right now. I love doing it when I can, but I don’t have the time.

How do we communicate?

If you are already using Project Management/Team Communication software like ClickUp, Trello, Asana or Basecamp, I am happy to jump onboard with that. If not, my preferred way of communication for tasks, general chats and updates is ClickUp or Basecamp. 


Alternatively, email is used for day-to-day communication. 


Depending on what we agreed upon when starting our journey, weekly or monthly Zoom/phone calls will also take place. 

How quickly will you respond when I contact you?

To maximise my productivity and still be as responsive as possible, I have set the following guidelines in place regarding our communication:

-I answer all emails within 8 hours Monday - Friday, although I generally respond sooner as I check emails 3 times per day.

-I also check Team Communication tools 3 times per day for new conversations, tasks or instructions.

-WhatsApp is only used for extreme emergencies.

How long will it take to complete a task given to you?

Here it entirely depends on the scope and volume of the task.

-The average turnaround time for basic administrative tasks is 12 - 24 hours, however, when my schedule allows, you will have it sooner.

-Bigger projects will be completed as per our agreed upon time-frame.

-Basic tasks given to me on a Friday will only be completed by the Monday.

What happens if I need something done urgently?

-For rush jobs and emergencies that require less than 12 hours turnaround, a 50% surcharge will be added to your next invoice. 

-In exceptional urgent cases that would require me to work after hours, weekends or my holidays, a 100% surcharge will be added to your next invoice.


Don't worry, I will remind you of this so you don't get a nasty surprise later.


What happens if I need something done that is not part of our agreement?
As your business grows and evolves your business needs might change. If it is something that needs to be added as part of my regular services to you, we will amend our agreement and your package rate to include the additional services. If it is something that you only need to be done once, it will be treated as a one-off project.
What happens when you go on holiday?
I will give you sufficient notice (minimum one month). Depending on the type of work I assist you with, I can complete it before or after my holiday or my VA will take over for the period that I am away. This will be discussed with you prior to my holiday.
Do you track your time?
Because I created a custom package for you, there is no need to track the time spent on your business.
What are your working hours?

My business hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.


My office is closed on weekends, Easter weekend, Christmas Day, New Year's Day as well as all other South African public holidays.

Why must I sign a contract?
Our signed agreement (contract) protects both our interests as Client and Contractor. Should you accept my proposal for services, you will receive and sign your agreement electronically. I will also send you a countersigned PDF version of our agreement via mail.
Is our agreement flexible?

As your business grows and evolves your business needs might change. If it is something that needs to be added as part of my regular services to you, we will amend our agreement and your package rate to include the additional services. If it is something that you only need to be done once, it will be treated as a one-off project.

Is it safe to give my financial information, login details or confidential information to you?
I take the safety and security of my clients' information very seriously. My contract includes a Confidentiality Agreement (NDA) and I also recommend that you use a secure system like LastPass to share passwords and credit card information with me. 
How do I pay?

My invoices gets sent via email on the 25th of every month for the following month and are due by the 30th of every month.


For DIRECT BANK TRANSFERS and WISE TRANSFERS you can

1) Pay the full amount by the due date, or

2) Pay 50% by the due date and the balance by the 15th.


For payments via PAYPAL the full amount is due and payable.

Are there any additional fees in addition to my value-package rate?

There are no other hidden fees or costs. The amount we agreed upon in the proposal is the only amount you will pay.


Travel costs and sundry expenses incurred when sourcing gift items will be additional costs, however, this will be discussed with you beforehand.
